My story
I am Sousa Joakim , a passionate photographer and videographer, based in Pau, in the beautiful southwest of France. Born in 1996, I have always been fascinated by the beauty of nature, animals, faces, human relationships and even psychology. Every aspect of life captivates and inspires me, which makes my artistic journey both rich and complex.
My insatiable curiosity has led me to observe the world from different angles. My childhood memories are often filled with moments spent exploring forests, marveling at wildlife, and contemplating human interactions. I have a particular sensitivity to injustices and conflicts, which pushes me to seek beauty and harmony in this world.
In addition to nature photography, I also enjoy delving into portraiture, capturing people's emotions and stories. Over time, I have developed an attraction to artistic fields. However, coming from a background where art was often considered a distant dream, I was convinced for a long time that it was not a real profession.
So I opted for automotive mechanics studies, while keeping an eye on the photographic and videographic inspirations that fed my creative soul. Today, driven by a renewed passion and unwavering determination, I decided to take the plunge and launch myself as a professional.
